Adolescent mental health improvement (SDQ) — Mental Health & Psychosocial Support M&E Indicator
Percentage of school-going adolescents (aged 10-17) showing improvement on the SDQ (Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire — a free, 25-item screener covering emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity, peer problems and prosocial behaviour) at endline versus baseline. Self-report and teacher-report versions exist. Used worldwide for school-based mental health programmes and aligned with India's RKSK (Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram — National Adolescent Health Programme)
